EP39: Finding Joy in the Kitchen - Part 1

Do you love to cook? Does the idea of synergy between textures and flavors excite you? Or maybe you rarely step into the kitchen and shudder at the idea of having to make something from scratch. Wherever you fall on the spectrum, the next TWO episodes are for you! Today’s episode covers the history of the introduction of refined sugar, what happens in the brain when we are “hooked” on something, and encouragement that there’s hope for a healthy lifestyle!

I’ve got my new friend Rebecca Megan sharing her wisdom over the next few weeks! She is a health educator, cook, and is passionate about educating people. Bec teaches people how to cook delicious food and how to eat and shop for health, all so we can age with strength - and no disease. She is passionate about transforming food culture in homes around the globe through education about the body and how food affects it. Bec empowers people to love their kitchen. One of her favorite sayings is, “the body is designed for life and not disease.” Bec is a mother to amazing 18 year old twin girls and they have been her greatest inspiration for doing what she does.

Join us on the journey to health and wholeness and let’s get back in the kitchen!
